APPROACH
In the work I do with clients, I often utilize Internal Family Systems, Emotion-Focused and Narrative styles of therapy. Additionally, I provide group therapy, multi-family support groups and therapeutic meals with clients and their families. I have specialized experience and knowledge in Family Based Treatment or “Maudsley Method” and can provide parents support and guidance in navigating their child’s eating disorder.
I provide relational and systemic therapy to assist in healing from a variety of other mental health diagnoses and symptoms. I am most passionate about the importance of incorporating a client’s contexts and systems, (most frequently their families) into the treatment process along with challenging toxic Diet Culture and destructive body-image ideals.
